Can I recommend QPDB? 100% yes! They did a full renovation of our Victorian terrace in 2016 and I wish I could do it all over again it was that great. A brilliant team of lovely people who we felt always had our backs (yes – builders who you can trust – who would have thought?!). They brought tons of great ideas and solutions to the table, finished our house on time (another wow) and to a great standard – there isn’t one shoddy bit of workmanship here – even in cupboards and hidden away places – it’s all been done to the best standard possible. We are more than happy with what they did for us and the relationship we have them now two years on is still really helpful. Can only hope we do get to do it all over again sometime in the future!

My refurbishment project was extensive and brilliantly executed by QPBD.
We removed the roof, added a central skylight over the staircase, a rear upper extension, side extension and lowered the rear of the house to garden level giving us a reception with gallery proportions. Every detail was carried out to our drawings and having worked with many building contractors in my profession this is not always the case! They are a very easy team to work with and my project was completed in a record ten months so I have no hesitation in recommending them.

By some amazing bit of good fortune someone mentioned QPDB to me when I bought a house in Kensal Green. I have undertaken many building projects and I can genuinely say working with Nathan and his team was my best experience to date. In my opinion they have lifted the bar way beyond the normal building experience. Every aspect of the job – a side return and room in the roof – was carried out to an exemplary standard. If anything wasn’t quite right, it was corrected without a quibble. I was also extremely fortunate that my job coincided with the arrival of Trudy who was unbelievably helpful and guided me through bathroom fittings and anything else I needed help with. Additionally Nathan promised to try his hardest to finish a month early to compensate for a late start caused through no fault of his own – and he pretty much succeeded! Additionally this was all done with only weekly visits from me as I was living out of London at the time. I would use Nathan and Trudy and the team again without a moment’s hesitation.

Working with Nathan and his team was a blast from design to build completion. Nathan kept coming up with great ideas and got me to incorporate things I had not thought of into my home. He has great contacts who added the finishing touches. It was a “back to brick” build I believe they call it. When you see no walls, no floors and just the bare brick external walls you really cannot imagine how amazing it is going to be. It exceeded my expectations. I had a dream for a very long time that one day I would live and work in my property. With the help of my sister and the skill of QPAD my dream has come true. As with all long term dreams I wanted everything. Everything was delivered with the guidance of Nathan and the skill of his workforce. Jarek, the project manager, was amazing and kind. He put up with all sorts of bad ideas on my side and replaced them with practical and skilful advice. I was constantly in touch with Trudy at the office and she was yet another guiding hand. She sourced almost everything I wanted. The architect Matthias put all the plans into such good shape that the workmen could work directly from them. Joe designed all my built in cupboards. Genius. Not to be forgotten the budget was on the button and the timing was fantastic.
